Born from their brand proposition of ‘For The People’, and their historic ties to football, Pukka came to us with their ambition to launch Pukka Athletic - an initiative whereby they support grassroots football, and ultimately bring warmth back to the beautiful game. At the core of the campaign was spotlighting the wonderful real people who make football the amazing game that it is. I was the sole Creative across the campaign
For the hero piece we filmed at League 2 side Walsall FC, and Grassroots teams WST LDN FC and Shepards Booters. The aim of the content was an awareness piece for Pukka Athletic through a love letter to football. I was the writer and director of the content and oversaw pre and post production.
To support the hero content we created four editorial films that covered the teams we worked with to make the hero film.
